Studio Production
Recording
We offer industry standard equipment such as; Pro Tools, Orange Amplifiers, Fender, Gibson, Yamaha, Universal Audio, Neumann, DPA, Sennheiser, and many more.
Professional products coupled with more than a decade of industry experience enables us to offer some of the most professional results of any studio within the same price range. Mixing
Lyd Sound is a Pro Tools based studio, we mix "in the box" which means we mix entirely using software and computers. We've invested thousands of dollars in software to emulate classic analog equipment as well as the best that digital has to offer to insure a fantastic sound.
Mastering
Mastering should not be done in a recording studio as it requires a completely different set of equipment and room structure than that of a recording studio.
We will deliver a Master Copy of each track leveled to near 0dBFS which is the optimal level for digital listening. If you choose to have your tracks professionally mastered we will deliver your tracks to you at a lower level to allow the Mastering Engineer to set the levels to the optimum level for your desired medium of distribution. If a recording studio is offering you mastering services, be sure to find out if they have a dedicated mastering room or if they are just "mastering" from their studio control room because more than likely they are just trying to charge you for a service they are not equipped to perform.
